The hospitality provided by the owners is like that of your best friend. The vegetarian food was tasty and plentiful ( even for non-veggies) and the staff could not do enough for you....including emergency supplies and taxi rides. I went on a yoga week, which I do most years and this was one of the best. A marvelous yoga shala and great teachers. For relaxation there are lots of hammocks placed around the olive grove and a cute little pool. ( Not a lap pool - but very charming nonetheless). The Yurts are basic, but very stylish and the shared washrooms are clean and plentiful. This location is a true escape in the mountains, it feels like going back to the 'olden days'. Don't expect nightlife or shopping ( go to Gocek if you really need that) and enjoy the tinkle of goat bells. This is by far the best value for money I have found for this type of yoga week. Most importantly, the owners and team were just so very welcoming - it would be an honour to return.

“A magical, relaxing retreat from the world”
I came here on a week-long yoga retreat and left feeling as refreshed and relaxed as if I'd been away for a month, thanks not only to my yoga teacher's skill but to the wonderful tranquillity and beautiful setting of Huzur Vadisi. It's not 5 star luxury but I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable and well-designed this place is - everything shows the little touches that tell you how much care and thought has gone into making this a special place to stay. The only reason I didn't sleep better in my very comfy yurt was that I was woken up by jays fighting in the olive trees above my head some mornings! The yoga shala is just beautiful and it's lovely to be able to retreat to the shade of a lounger by the pool in between practice. The food is amazing (I'm not a vegetarian but I didn't miss meat at all!) and the staff are lovely - friendly, endlessly helpful and make you feel as if you're welcomed into a family home. It's hard to believe you're only a short drive from the busy coastal town of Gocek when you feel so cocooned from reality here!
