Terms & Conditions - Baoli breaks and holidays

1.  Introduction

To ensure that we can offer you premium services and products and that you fully enjoy the Baoli experience, we recommend that you carefully read and understand these terms as they describe the terms and conditions applicable to the use of services and the sale of goods we offer. If you are not prepared to agree with and accept all of these terms outlined in this contract you many not use our services or access our products. These Terms & Conditions serve as a contract between you as a client and The Baoli Ltd., 9 North Parade, Mollison Way, Edgware, Middlesex, HA8 5QW, England. Registered in England and Wales No. 6742239.

2.  Booking and confirmation

We are offering the opportunity for you to book Baoli breaks and holidays from us via telephone, email or website. You can call us at +44 (0) 754 330 2820, send us an email at info@thebaoli.com or complete a booking form on our web site. Office hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm.

Once you have chosen your holistic break or holiday from the Baoli menu, it is important you enquire availability of your preferred date, type of accommodation and number of your party. If the space or type of accommodation on your chosen break or holiday is no longer available we suggest alternative dates and destinations for you.

We will get back to you within 24 hours upon receiving your booking enquiry to confirm the availability at our holistic break or holiday and issue a deposit invoice so you can pay 25% of non-refundable deposit. Once we have received this deposit, a confirmation note will be sent out to you by email or post and this contract comes into existence. 

If you wish us to create your bespoke Baoli experience and tailor a break or holiday to your needs, please call us directly at +44 (0) 754 330 2820 or send us an email at info@thebaoli.com to discuss further details. Please note, we request a 50% of non-refundable deposit when you order bespoke breaks or holidays.

3.  Prices, deposit and payments

We do our best not to change the published prices, however we do reserve the right to increase them based on exchange rate fluctuations and raise of transportation costs or service fees charged to us by third parties. In this event, we will inform you of such changes prior to making your booking. Once you have paid the deposit and your booking has been confirmed by us, your price is guaranteed.

A non-refundable deposit of 25% of total price (50% for bespoke breaks and holidays) is required to be paid at the time of booking so we can secure your place and hold your reservation. Upon its receipt we issue a balance invoice together with a confirmation note and the final payment has to be made 8 weeks before your break or holiday starts.

If you make a booking 8 weeks or less of the departure date, you are kindly requested to pay the full amount immediately. We reserve the right to cancel your reservation and retain the deposit if you fail to pay the total price in time and apply the Cancellation Policy (see paragraph 4).

You can pay by cheque or bank transfer and we also accept all major credit or debit cards (PayPal). All payment and bank details are available upon request.

Baoli break and holiday prices include:

  • Airport transfers (if you use flight/airport recommended by us)
  • Accommodation
  • All meals and refreshments
  • Daily yoga lessons
  • Regular training sessions
  • Personal consultation
  • Body therapy and massage
  • Daily relaxation and meditation session
  • Use of equipment and props
  • Regional activities and events
  • 24/7 staff assistance


Please, note that the type of activities may vary based on the nature of individual break or holiday.

Baoli break and holiday prices exclude:

  • Flights
  • Travel insurance
  • Health insurance
  • Personal expenses (use of phone, internet, taxi, tips, etc)

4.  Changes and cancellation by you

If you need to cancel your Baoli break or holiday, your paid deposit is not refundable and a cancellation fee applies as follows. A notification of your cancellation, including your reference booking, must be received in writing, either by email at info@thebaoli.com or post addressed to The Baoli Ltd., 9 North Parade, Mollison Way, Edgware, Middlesex, HA8 5QW, England. The effective date of your cancellation is the date of receipt by us of the written notification.

If you request any changes to your booking we will endeavour to comply, but cannot guarantee them. The changes must be made in writing and it is not possible to make any within 30 days of your departure. We do not charge any administration fee for additional changes but the invoice for extra charges must be paid immediately. Alternatively, we refund the balance within 30 days.
 
We recommend you arrange travel insurance and cover against loss of deposit or cancellation fees as we can not refund your break or holiday in case of cancellation, arriving late for your break or holiday or departing earlier.

5.  Changes and cancellation by The Baoli Ltd.

We trust to deliver only premium products and services and plan all of our Baoli breaks and holidays long in advance. Therefore, we do not expect any major changes to occur at the time of your booking. We, however, reserve the right at all times to make minor changes to our program or staff and at our sole discretion to refuse to accept any bookings.

If, on rare occasions, we are forced to make major changes, we will inform you as soon as possible and you have a right to either accept such amendments, book another break or holiday with us, or cancel your break or holiday, receiving a full refund. In all cases, compensation will be paid as listed below, unless the change occurs as a result of force majeure (see paragraph 9).

Please, note that no compensation will be paid if we cancel your break or holiday as a result of your failure to comply with our Terms & Conditions, especially if we do not receive your full payment in time.

6.  Travel information, passport and visa

In order for you to make all the necessary arrangements in time before you leave for your break or holiday, we will send you details of recommended airlines and flights, insurance providers and visa and medical requirements of the visiting country as soon as your deposit is received. Please, note that this service applies only to the UK residents; citizens of other states are kindly requested to contact the relevant consulates and travel agents in their own country.

It is your own responsibility to ensure you have the right and valid travel documents prior to travel, such as passport, visa and health documents (also see paragraph 8) as we can not accept any responsibility if you are denied access into a country -

  • Your passport should be valid for at least six months after you enter the foreign country. Children may be registered on their parents' passports, but a separate children passport is required in some countries;

  • Your visa requirements should be checked with relevant consulate. We recommend you allow enough time to arrange your visa if required as it may take up to 8 weeks to obtain them in some occassions.


Approximately two weeks prior to your departure, we will send you a Baoli travel pack that will include information of your break or holiday, transfer details, itinerary, list of essential items to bring, useful tips and contact details.

7.  Flights and transfers

Upon confirmation of your booking, we will advice you on the most convenient airlines and flights into our destination and kindly request you to organize your flights directly. We can not be hold responsible for your tickets, delay or liability and you should check the terms and conditions of your flight provider which apply separately.

We arrange group airport transfers to/from our venues on recommended flights as part of your break or holiday. If you decide to take different flight or wish to arrive/depart earlier or later than the scheduled group airport transfer, please advice us when booking and we will do our best to arrange your individual transportation at additional costs.

8.  Health and medical requirements

There might be essential health requirements for some of the countries you are traveling to and we recommend you check with your doctor or clinic what vaccination you need. It is also your responsibility to make sure that you are physically fit and have not been advised not to practice yoga or other strenuous excercise by a qualified medical person.

9.  Insurance and liability

We strongly recommend you arrange travel insurance to cover all eventualities before you depart for your break or holiday. It is your responsibility to inform us of your medical condition upon your arrival to our destination and you agree to participate in all activities voluntarily, so please be aware of all risks in practicing yoga or other physical activities. We can not be liable for any injury, accident, death or property loss. Please, note that we are not responsible for any activities you book outside our itinerary.

You agree that we shall not be liable for any losses, damages, costs, claims and other liabilities which arise as a result of any delay, interruption or failure of transportation or events out of our control or any of our suppliers’ control, including, but not limited to, war, threat of war, riot, civil strife, terrorist activity, explosion, industrial dispute, sabotage, natural disaster (fire, lightning, flood etc), weather conditions or acts of local or central Government or other competent authorities.

10.  Your obligations

You agree to treat our staff, participants and property with care and consideration and ensure that you will not cause damage to the property or its contents and offence, danger or distress our staff and other participants. You should report any damage, breakage or dispute to Baoli local representative immediately.

If you plan to bring children, we advise to verify with us the suitability of Baoli breaks and holidays as well as equipment availability, special needs or services. Children should be monitored at all times and they participate in all activities at your own risk as we can not accept liability for them or the faulty use of equipment.

Pursuant to these Terms & Conditions, you agree that you will pay all required payment tranches in order to proceed with your booking and complete your transaction.

12.  Complaints

If any dispute or complaint arises whilst you are on holiday you should inform Baoli local representative to allow them to resolve the matter. If you are not satisfied or we can not solve the problem locally, you should send us the detailed complaint in writing via email or post within 28 days upon your return. Please note, we can not be responsible for behaviour of other participants or guests.

13.  Governing law

This contract and its terms is governed and construed in accordance with English law and exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
